McFarland Orthodontics is extremely passionate about supporting our local teachers and schools.

Every year we have our Teacher Appreciation Contest, where we give our patients the opportunity to nominate the teacher that has impacted their lives the most. Then we choose a nominee and reward that teacher with a $200 Visa Gift Card and the associated school with a $500 Visa Gift Card.

One of the best parts of this contest is the day that we get to hand deliver the prizes to our winners. It means a great deal to these hard-working teachers to simply be recognized for their hard work by their students, but the cash prize is also so well-deserved and fun to hand over.

This year we surprised Ms. Jessica Dax in her classroom at Hedrick Middle School in Lewisville. The look on her face was priceless as our patient Faith explained that she won our contest and handed over her prize!

We can't wait to do it all over again next year.
