I've been really getting into the Fall spirit over here at McFarland Orthodontics, so I was really hoping to post a delicious, braces-friendly autumnal soup on the blog today. But let's face it, it's still too hot for soup. So instead, I'm posting a recipe that will keep you cool AND in the spirit of the season, all at once. Get all the flavors of fall without breaking out in a sweat with this tasty, healthy protein smoothie.
This smoothie lacks any refined sugar and is high in protein, gluten-free, and just plain yummy... But most importantly, it's 100% braces friendly!
Combine all the ingredients in a blender and add ice to desired thickness. Blend till smooth.
