These mummy brownies are a cute and tasty way to enjoy a Halloween treat without damaging your braces! (See our Halloween Candy Do's and Don'ts list by clicking HERE) I also wanted to share a recipe that didn't include a lot of tooth-staining food coloring.

Creating these mummy brownies are as simple as putting your favorite store bought (or homemade) brownie mix into the oven, drizzling white chocolate over cooled, cut brownies, and dotting them with candy eyeballs!

Ingredients

  • one batch of your favorite brownies
  • white chocolate melts
  • candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Bake your brownies according to recipe or package directions and place in the freezer to cool.
  2. While brownies are cooling melt your chocolates over a double boiler or in the microwave.
  3. Pour melted chocolate into a small ziplock bag and cut a small opening in one of the corners.
  4. Cut your brownies into desired sized rectangles.
  5. Squeeze melted chocolate out of your ziplock and onto your brownies in a back and forth zig-zag motion.
  6. Immediately place eyeballs onto melted chocolate.
  7. Put finished mummies in the fridge to set.
  8. Enjoy!
